Pierre’s Patisserie Slots
Food-themed slots are popular with slot game players, and Pierre’s Patisserie slots is a popular option from Arrow’s Edge. It’s a game where there’s a major jackpot awarded randomly at some point before it crosses the $10,000 line. Before we get to the review, here are the basic game details.
- Game Developer: Arrow’s Edge
- Slot Game Type: 5-reel bonus slot with one jackpot and several special features
- Game Theme: Food
- Paylines: 25
- Betting Options: 25 cents to $250
- Game RTP: 95.43%
We’re about to go into the prizes you can win. One thing to keep in mind is that base game prizes are eligible for the Double Up feature. You can win twice as much if you want through a pick ‘em game where you pick a pastry and hope you’ve picked the one that matches the chef’s creation.
The Paytable
Any game’s value comes down to the prizes from the paytable. Here’s what you can win in the base game when you have three, four, or five matching symbols on one of the 25 paylines.
- 10 and Jack – 5, 15, and 75x
- Queen – 5, 20, and 100x
- King and Ace – 5, 30, and 100x
- Croissant – 15, 50, and 200x
- Crepes – 15, 100, and 250x
- Doughnuts – 15, 100, and 250x
- Cupcake – 25, 150, and 300x
- Wild Chef – 50, 200, and 1,000x
Pierre is a scatter. Additional symbols appear in the bonus features.
The Bonus Features
Three or more Pierre scatters trigger the free spins bonus round. Scatters have a 3x multiplier in the free spins bonus round. If you win free spins, you start with 15 of them. Earn more by collecting Flour Bags or additional scatters.
Flour Bags appear in the bonus round. Three of them award 3 additional free spins, and that pattern continues each time you get another three Flour Bags.
The game’s Tasty Treat feature is a cascading reels feature where symbols fall from the reels and other symbols take their place, which leads to multiple payouts on one spin.
The final bonus feature is Bakers Go Wild. If you fill the two spaces under a baked good, you win at least one re-spin with that baked good turned into a wild for that new spin. Fill the baked goods’ spaces by getting consecutive winning combinations during the Tasty Treat feature.
The Results of Our 10 Spins
Any time we review a slot game, we play 10 rounds. Our bet was $5 for a total of $50 risked. We did have a decent hit rate, but the payouts weren’t that great, which makes it hard to recommend this game.
- 1st spin - $2
- 2nd spin - $1
- 6th spin - $1
- 7th spin - $5
- 9th spin - $1
- 10th spin - $1
We never triggered the free spins bonus round. We also never had multiple winning combinations with the Tasty Treat feature. While we loved the graphics and worked up an appetite playing Pierre’s Patisserie, we didn’t see substantial prizes and the bonus features didn’t seem easy to trigger.
